Get to Know Jen

Jen Bahl is our controller at Encore Pavement, a leading asphalt paving company in Wichita, Kansas. She has been with our company since January of 2021 and greatly contributes to the success of our team. On a daily basis, she works to oversee accounting operations and guide strategic financial decisions within the company while building long-lasting relationships with our clients. We are grateful to call Jen part of our Encore family; get to know her through the quick interview below!

In Her Words

What do you like about working for Encore Pavement?

I love that at Encore Pavement, there is always a push for growth and development. The ownership team does a wonderful job in selecting top-tier talent and cares about each of their employees. They have created an environment and culture that I am happy to be a part of. At Encore Pavement, we focus on the quality of work and our customers’ needs which builds long-lasting relationships.
What is something you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I enjoy getting outdoors whenever I can, doing anything from hiking and riding bikes to kayaking. I also love to travel and explore new places with my two children.
What is something you are passionate about?

When I was younger, I played volleyball growing up, so I enjoy coaching when possible.
What will people be surprised to know?

People will be surprised to know that although I moved to the United States when I was a baby, I was actually born in Germany. My mom’s side of the family is German, and I look forward to visiting someday!
